Agriculture & rural
Rural IT that holds together out past the end of the fibre.

Regional agriculture runs on connectivity, records and the weather. Two of which you can actually control. We build rural IT that holds together out past the end of the fibre.

Our take

Rural business IT is its own discipline. Starlink or fixed wireless as the main link, a secondary failover if the first one drops, Wi-Fi across buildings that were never designed for it, and devices that work in the paddock as well as the office. We've been doing rural work for a decade and we know where it goes wrong. Connectivity gaps, paper-and-spreadsheet record-keeping with no backup, shared logins that nobody wants to be the one to fix. Remote-first support is a natural fit here because most issues don't need a drive to sort out.

Common problems

The IT problems we see over and over.

After ten years working with agriculture & rural clients, some patterns repeat. None of these are unusual. All of them are fixable.

  • Internet that drops at the worst possible time

  • Records that live in one spreadsheet on one laptop, nowhere backed up

  • Office Wi-Fi that can't reach the sheds

  • Shared logins nobody remembers who owns

  • Software that only works 'at the office' when everyone's out on the property

How we help

What the managed plan covers.

These are the specific things we bundle into a managed plan for this industry. Scope is always fitted to your actual business. Nothing padded, nothing missing.

  • Starlink install, configuration and failover
  • Farm office Wi-Fi across sheds, homesteads and yards
  • Backup for livestock records, spreadsheets and paperwork
  • Device management for laptops, tablets and phones in the paddock
  • Secure remote access for off-station staff and advisors
  • Business-grade routers that tolerate dust and heat
